So Far as we know right now blogging in Google is a great way to improve your link structure and improve page rank and because you can make a place that's not intended to drive business but more to share information people don't mind trading a link especially if you have PR already.

Google loves information and new content so a blog is a great way for some people to expand their linking options I mean consider all the new methods one can submit a source of this nature and obtain more links its great.

Now if your doing business just remember that at one point considering the rules it is every possible for the engines to shift away from highly ranking informational sights once blogs gain to much authority.

If that shift happens and all of your linking is delivered via one of or several of your blogs you wont be happy with the deadly blow it could deliver.

When you develop your blog remember that the best content is your own content no matter how you look at. It is because the SE will see and know if you have taken the time to create a unique site when it is spidered by google's Googlebot.

If you are promoting another site with links from your blog moderation is the key, with that in mind one can certainly find a great way to not only provide advice and iformation to your customers on the many different topics your site may have to offer but at the same time you can improve the relevancy of your own site through text links and a higher pr passing through.

Get links coming to your blogs from various sources that get spidered daily or I should say hight page rank dircetories with a small number of links on them or even other blogs to keep bringing the spider to your informational site as often as possible.

Keep the fresh content comeing and you will build a great deal of relevency on your specific topic amd will have a great tool for todays demanding seo needs.

Now its not majic and if you abuse it blogger will eventually do something about it so do it with as much seo ethics as you know how and you should be ok.

Never neglect the basics of seo when it comes to your website itself and realize that if you want to compete in the real world of online business you cant cut any corners.

Blog Rankings

Blogging is the latest boom on line and not only because google has endorsed it as a way to promote add words but because many people are finding it a fast and easy way to get page rank in google and I dont believe google has a big problem exploiting this idea.

To some extent of coarse.

The question is will it backlash and I think the answer is ultimately going to be yes, I may be wrong who knows.

My theory is that if these pages are content rich and get page rank so easily due to the fact that blogger.com produces all html pages, and things keep going the way they have been it may kill relevancy in google all together in terms of finding a merchant in the resluts.

Businesses will be forced to buy adwords or build blogs to get rankings in googles 1st or 2nd page positions and this could eventually get out of hand so what happens when it does.

I think people will find google not to be so relevant and google will start to lose its users to other more relevant engines.

When this happens google is probably going to add another filter before any damage happens but how would they do that give rankings to shopping carts or what ?

If you are dependant on the blog when and if this were to happen then you could be sitting there with your unmentionables in your hand blaming it on the google dance.

So I think it might not be such a bad idea to make sure you are ranking in other engines as well because using blogs for SEO is something that is being done and will probably be in good practice for a while.

Never to fear though because we can always count on people competing with there blogs and that will slow the potentially destructive side of blogging from dominating the search results.

But finding another way to rank in google might be a good idea because blogs will probably get filtered either now or later but its going to happen.

And if they didnt filter it some way at least on the level of new fresh content then the negative side would be take its course very fast and it would destroy things and google would be promoting spam ?

I dont think google will promite spam but I think they will make some loot before it becomes a problem.

Turns out good old fashion link building is here to stay.
